Well it is Sunday and so we are getting ready for our third performance of Beethoven 9th Choral Symphony with the fantastic Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra.
Leeds and Middlesbrough went down really well, and so all those top A’s were worth it – apparently there are 75 in 18 minutes. Somebody counted them.
This time we will be with our friends in the Sheffield Philharmonic.
In another two weeks it will be our season finale – the fantastic Belshazzar’s Feast with our friends in the Festival chorus. And Ravel’s bolero – pity the poor guy in percussion having to keep the rhythm going for over 15 minutes.
I hope you can join us.
