New Chairman for the Phil

Categories: Stories

We are very pleased to announce that following the AGM on the 5th June 2014, Philip Meaden has been appointed our new  chairman of the trustees.

Philip is currently the Principal and Managing Director of Leeds College of Music, but after six and a half years in post he wil be stepping down in August 2014.

As a student, Philip attended the Royal Academy of Music, where he trained as an organist, and was subsequently appointed to be assistant director of music at Alleyn’s School in Dulwich – later becoming the Director.  He went from Alleyn’s to be Director of Studies at Trinity College of Music, and then to be assistant principal at Trinity before his appointment at Leeds college of Music in 2008.

Philip brings a wide breadth of experience in music, performance and management and we hope he will be very happy with us.
