LEEDS PHIL AWAY DAY TO BOLTON ABBEY
Saturday 25 June, 2016
(To clarify the village is called Bolton Abbey but the church where we are performing is called Bolton Priory, blame the Victorians!)
We have booked Bolton Abbey Village Hall, a short stroll from the Priory, to use as a base for the afternoon for; FREE parking and changing. A local caterer will provide a buffet to be served in the Village Hall between the rehearsal and the evening performance. The cost of the buffet will be £10 a head and any guests are welcome to eat join us. Numbers will be needed by the end of May.
Directions and details will be sent with rehearsal timings.
PLEASE NOTE; the official village car park costs £8 to park so use the Village Hall car park. Parking down by the Priory is not available in the daytime and in the evening needs to be left for the audience and Phil members who need easy access.
If you want to make a day of it bring a picnic for lunch before the rehearsal , there are lovely walks by the river. Your picnic can be eaten in the ruins or by the river. Tea and coffee will be available at lunchtime in the Boyle Room which is the Priory Parish Room adjacent to the Priory.
Directions will be sent with rehearsal timings etc.
I will have tickets for this concert priced £12 available at rehearsals after Easter.
The ticket includes a glass of wine in the interval.
